Jennifer Irons

Jennifer has been a Mass Movement Director for Akram Khan Company, featuring over 1000 dancers across Edinburgh at the Edinburgh International Festival and Paris Hotel de Ville. Jennifer has also been an Associate Choreographer with Complicité and was Associate Artist with Candoco Dance Company from 2006 - 2016.

Jennifer’s commercial work includes choreography on feature film Hero, and on music video promos for Olly Murs feat. Rizzle Kicks, and Wave Machines; winner of the 2011 UK MVA for Best Choreography.

Jennifer is founder and director of ironINC in Africa; an arts for cultural exchange programme working with local partners across Africa and the Middle East to co-create and deliver arts programs for professional and social development.

Yukon Ho!, her one-woman guide to surviving the arctic has toured the UK through Autumn 2021 to Spring 2022.

Jennifer is currently developing her new show Bad Immigrant, premiering at Worthing Theatres February 2025.

Born and raised in the Yukon, and now over 20 years living in the UK, she has been getting people together to dance since she was five years old.
